What is the standard hiring process?
As part of our hiring process, you will likely have an initial set of Zoom/Video interviews followed by an Onsite interview at our Corporate HQ in Sunnyvale or our local office. Here, you will meet face-to-face with some of our teams and tour our beautiful offices.

Primary Functions of the Role:
As a member of the People Solutions team, the Employee Relations Manager will be responsible for partnering with HR leaders and the legal team to provide ongoing coaching and guidance on matters such as, but not limited to, general performance issues, corrective actions, basic policy violations, involuntary exits, and other bespoke/non-standard employment matters as needed to support the business.

The Clinical Territory Associate (CTA) will work closely with the Clinical Sales Manager to gain knowledge in all aspects of our business including technical, clinical, and sales. Network Product Engineer
Job Description
Primary Function of Position:
The Network Product Engineer position is a multifaceted role responsible for the project management, document management, and validation & verification of the Network Security Device used within Intuitive Surgical systems. This individual will work with Quality Assurance Engineers, Software Development Engineers, and product partners to deliver world-class wired/wireless networking solutions to Intuitive Surgical customers.
The ideal candidate for the position will have an in-depth knowledge of project management including developing project plans, creating work breakdown structures, and reporting project status to stakeholders. The New Product Verification Department is devoted to assuring safe, reliable, and effective products that exceed patient, surgeon, and hospital expectations. Clinical Study Manager
Job Description
Primary Function of Position:
This position reports to the Manager, Clinical Affairs, and requires a candidate with extensive experience supporting evidence-generation strategy and execution of clinical studies.
The Clinical Study Manager-3 (CSM III) role will develop and execute strategies for clinical and outcomes research studies to support regulatory approvals and key strategic evidence initiatives. As a member of the Clinical Affairs team, this role will be responsible for working with key stakeholders to design and develop clinical protocols and execute clinical studies (pre-market or post-market studies), with minimal supervision.
The candidate will be required to work closely with clinical research associates (CRAs), clinical trial assistants (CTAs), and data management for the conduct and execution of the study, as well as with biostatisticians to review and interpret results of clinical studies, develop clinical study reports or support the development of clinical publications.
During trial execution, the CSM will drive the progress of the trial during site selection, site start-up, and enrollment and follow-up. The CSM will clearly provide guidance to the monitors about monitoring needs, and oversee compliance work on the study. The CSM will also take a leadership role in external communication with investigators and study teams.

Human Factors Engineer
Job Description
Primary Function of Position:
As part of the Intuitive UX Group (User Experience), The Human Factors Engineer works closely with fellow Human Factors Engineers and other UX teams (interaction designers, visual designers, and industrial designers). Within the project team, the Human Factors Engineer collaborates with clinical engineers, system and software engineers, and technical product managers, among other important functional teams.
The Human Factors Engineer is a key contributor to informing and guiding the development of new products and ensuring that those products are feasible, viable, and desirable.
As a member of new and sustaining product-development project teams, the Human Factors Engineer works within a creative and structured process to conduct user research, analyze and characterize use-related risks, and conduct usability testing of products prior to launch.
They have the responsibility for evaluating product designs with end-user test participants, creating usability risk analyses, and conducting final usability validation studies and reports. Laser Welding Technician
Job Description
Primary Function of Position:
Joining Intuitive Surgical means joining a team dedicated to using technology to benefit patients by improving surgical efficacy and decreasing surgical invasiveness, with patient safety as our highest priority.
The Automation Equipment and Test (AET) Team is responsible for developing and maintaining equipment that optimizes and streamlines the manufacturing process of instruments and accessories.
The engineering technician in this position will play a key role on the Equipment Engineering team to enable the manufacture of new surgical robotic instruments and accessories. This engineering technician will implement and maintain the equipment, controls, and fixturing for automated laser welding processes.
The position will require close collaboration with the laser services team, laser welding equipment suppliers, electrical engineers, mechanical engineers, manufacturing engineers, and quality engineers to implement reliable laser welding equipment and processes.
